Summer cruising 2010 Part 3 Port Mcneil to Anacortes

Stopped at this small town on the northern part of Vancouver Island to replenish provisions and see a dentist for Diane's tooth ache.
This port is growing with new marina docks to be installed this winter. We were only going to stay 2 nights but gale winds were blowing so we stayed one additional day.  As you can see by the calm water the morning we departed,  it was a good decision to stay a third night.
Lot's of snow-capped mountains in this area of B.C.
These dolphins enjoyed playing in our wake on our trip south to Campbell River.
Also saw a few Orcas during our trip.
We made a stop at Montague Harbor in the Gulf Islands.  There is a very nice park at the end of the bay that has a popular sandy beach.
Nap time after a long day of cruising.
Mackenzie seems to like riding in the captains chair while underway.
