Summer cruising pictures part 1

Finally, the sunset that we were all waiting for and this picture doesn't even come close to how beautiful it was.

The largest vessel in this photo is call "Fast Break," which is
owned by a Nordstrum family member.

This private community allows visiting boaters to moor for
the night as long as there is space at the docks. Since it was
early June, most of the residents had not arrived with their
boats so there was plenty of room for our two boats

As we cruised, we tried to give the "kids" play time anytime we found a patch of grass.

The Dingy Pub is on and island that serves as
protection for Nanaimo Harbor. Access is by boat only so
one has to take a tender or a small passenger ferry
to the island
